Photography Classes

Other classes that may be of interest:
- Camera techniques class which will show the more creative side of photography and getting more camera control creatively.
- Studio classes allow the understanding of how a camera syncs with a studio flash kit and give an introduction into the control of light and how that reacts with people, textures and objects.
- Post production classes explain how to take an image and bring it to life in a unique way. This shows how to use programs like photoshop and adobe lightroom – it also explains how to get an idea of how to visualise the image once edited in postproduction.
These classes run in the Barras Art and Design Centre on Saturday and Sunday – 28th and 29th of January, 25th and 26th of February, 31st March and 1st of April. Additional dates to follow
The morning classes will cover Camera techniques, shooting in the field and experimenting with various Camera techniques. This will run from 10-12.45.
The afternoon class will cover post production, editing images, colour balancing, getting good tones in black and white. Getting images web ready, cleaning up dirt, sharpening images. Getting images print ready, and the option to gave images printed, mounted and framed. This will run from 1.45 – 4.30
The classes will have a 15 minute break for a cup of Tea/coffee and a scone. If you book a full day session lunch is included from the BAAD cafe
The classes will benefit all levels of photography.
Classes start at £30 per session and last round 2 hours and 30 minutes. This is an opportunity for beginners with DSLR cameras to understand the functionality of their kit and have the confidence to get more out of photography. They allow a better understanding of the function of the camera and more control when taking a pictures.
